Post engineer position cytometry
OFFER DESCRIPTION:
Unit U1011 is looking for an engineer in cytometry
Unit 1011 develops projects in the field of immuno-metabolism. It studies the role of immune cells in metabolic organs (liver, adipose tissue, muscle) and in cardio-metabolic pathologies and their vascular complications (obesity, type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, hepatic steatosis...) and the impact of metabolic dysfunctions on the immune system
In the framework of these projects, Unit 1011 is looking for a cytometry engineer to perform cell sorting and to support analysis of cytometry results related these projects.
Unit 1011 manages 3 state-of-the-art cytometers:
- A BD LSRFORTESSA X-20 (Becton Dickinson®) analyzer cytometer, 5 lasers; 18 fluorescence parameters.
- A BD INFLUX cell sorter cytometer (Becton Dickinson®), 5 lasers, 21 fluorescence parameters and 6 sorting channels.
- A Helios mass cytometer (Fluidigm®).
- An analysis workstation equipped with software adapted to the processing of classical (FlowJo®, FACSDiva®) and multi-parametric (Cytobank®, Cytofkit under R) cytometry data.
Applicant profile:
- Required: PhD (Research Engineer) or Master 2 (Study Engineer) level
Practice and advanced mastery of analysis techniques in flow cytometry (settings and use of a cytometer analyzer, multi-parametric analysis...)
- The practice and mastery of cell sorting techniques and of an advanced cell is a major asset.
- Basic knowledge in immunology
- Authorization for animal experimentation is an additional asset.
Specific constraints
- Flexible hours according to experimental constraints.
Condtions
- Duration of the contract: 1 year renewable.
- Remuneration according to experience and level of training (civil service scales).
