Grants "Welcoming Internationals to Lille" obtained by Dr Mickael Rosa

We are delighted to announce that Dr Mickael Rosa and his colleagues have been awarded the ‘Welcoming Internationals to Lille’ (WILL) Chair, which is part of the France 2030 project and aims to boost the international attractiveness of the University of Lille and its partners (INSERM, CNRS, etc.). The aim of these international chairs is to set up a project involving an internationally renowned senior researcher and a junior scientist in Lille (For more details, click here).

Dr Mickael Rosa's project, called ISTROMICS (‘Improving ischemic stroke recanalization with multiomics’) aims to improve the management of ischemic stroke using multiomics approaches. It includes thrombus phenotyping (histology, spatial transcriptomics), plasma analysis (proteomics, scRNA-seq) and the study of stroke pathophysiology (mouse models, imaging, cerebral spatial transcriptomics). The aim is to predict the composition of thrombi and develop personalized management of ischaemic strokes.

Congratulations Mickael!
